What is the difference between the
"Ice Block" and a standard keg wrapping? |
|
That’s just it, a keg wrapping is just material wrapped around a keg.
You might as well just buy your own insulation, wrap it around a keg and
then duct tape it. The "Ice Block" is made from the highest
grade PVC backed nylon with thick insulation and then lined with Mylar.
Only this combination will withstand constant freezing and thawing cycles.
Inside are mesh pockets, which hold individual ice packs. The number of
ice packs depends on the size of the "Ice Block". The innermost
layer of tough nylon mesh provides further insulation and takes
condensation away from the container walls. The zip off lid allows the
"Ice Block" to be neatly folded and stored while the ice packs
are in the freezer. |
|
How does the "Ice Block" work? |
|
Inside are mesh pockets, which
hold individual ice packs. You simply take the individual ice packs and
freeze them the night before. Then the day of the event, you take them out
of the freezer and place them inside the mesh pockets, which are lined
inside the "Ice Block."
